Day 67: Labor of Love

God bless the hands which labor.

From the fruit of his mouth a man is satisfied with good,

and the work of a man's hand comes back to him.
Proverbs 12:14

God bless the heart that serves.
He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your strength
and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Luke 10:27

God bless the vocation God has called you to.
And whatever you do, in word or deed,
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17

Day 67. Dollar 67. Hunger Relief Community, we give thanks for your labor of love these past 67 days - for your hands which have labored, for your hearts that have served, and for your response to the call you heard to help those in need of food. Lord God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (LBW Morning Prayer)
